There are many, many things that could go on this page - food, clothing, books, etc.

Food - consider joining a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in the Centre County region.
One great one is Groundwork Farms CSA (http://www.groundworkfarms.com/). Local farms provide a wide variety of products including fruits and vegetables, dairy products, bread, flowers, meat, and eggs. Individuals and families can purchase a "share" and have products delivered weekly to their home or office.

From their website:
"Eight farms in the Penns Creek Watershed have joined together to direct market their products within our community. Each of these farmers use environmentally friendly methods to raise a variety of farm products, including vegetables, herbs, flowers, dairy products, eggs, meats, and berries. By joining together to coordinate growing, marketing, and distribution, GroundWork Farms aims to provide an abundant and reliable source of fresh, healthy foods to grocery stores, restaurants, and individuals. We are currently laying the groundwork for an effort that may one day evolve into a farmer-owned cooperative, supporting a large number of local farmers and supplying food to a great many members of our community."

On the "local" theme:
Websters Cafe and Bookstore has two locations, one on Allen in Downtown State College near campus and one on Aaron off Atherton. Websters serves free trade coffee and great food. The Stone Soup Connective is now located in the back of the Allen Websters location.
